Two venues with each a rich history and spectacular architecture are situated in the city centre of Haarlem. Haarlem is 20 minutes from Schiphol Airport, 15 minutes from Amsterdam and 15 minutes from the beach. Haarlem is Netherlands’ number one Shopping City and the provincial capital of North Holland.

Both venues offer a diverse programme of Theatre productions and Concerts. There’s a range of possibilities to host your congress, conference or other corporate event at (one of) these two venues.
 

Philharmonie - Capacity of 5 to 1,200
The Philharmonie is located in the heart of Haarlem on walking distance from the train station and can be found at the main square of the city. This 19th century theatre and concert hall, combines the classical grandeur of high ceilings and chandeliers with modern industrial architecture. The venue has a plenary congress capacity of 1,200 people with additional 10 sub-rooms from 10 up to 400 people.

For every type of event
The Philharmonie’s largest hall (a classical concert hall) is highly multifunctional as it has a flexible seating plan and a moveable floor. In its Theatre layout the hall can accommodate audiences up to 1,220. The theatre seats are moveable and can therefore be set up according to your wishes or even removed from the hall.

Stadsschouwburg – Capacity 5 to 630
Dating from the beginning of the twentieth century the Stadsschouwburg (City Theatre) is characterised by its exclusive and warm ambience. The hall and its adjoining foyers are gorgeously decorated in classical style down to the finest detail. They offer a range of possibilities to accommodate groups from 5 up to 630 people.
